Refund policy

Choosing a diamond should feel certain. If something isn't right, we make it right — clearly, and without the fine-print games the industry is known for. This policy covers our 30-Day Returns, Lifetime Exchange, and Lifetime Buyback for lab-grown diamond jewellery bought at apekani.diamonds.

30-Day Returns — free

You have 30 days from delivery to return an eligible piece for a full refund, and the insured return pickup is on us. Take the time to be sure your purchase is perfect.

Eligible: ready-to-ship pieces in their original, saleable condition.
Not eligible: made-to-order, personalised, engraved, or resized pieces — these are created uniquely for you and can be returned only if there is a manufacturing defect.

To be accepted, the piece must come back:

In its original packaging, in saleable condition — no scratches, wear, alteration, or resizing by anyone other than Apekani.
With its original IGI certificate and invoice.
With tags and seals intact. (If tags or packaging have been tampered with, the piece is assessed under Lifetime Buyback instead.)

Returns are free for genuine returns in saleable condition. We may decline a return that shows signs of wear, or limit repeated returns that indicate use-and-return rather than a genuine change of mind.

Your refund is processed within 10 business days of your piece clearing our quality check, back to your original payment method (card / net banking / UPI).

How to start a return

Email concierge@apekani.diamonds or message WhatsApp +91 90044 50018 within 30 days of delivery.
We arrange a free insured reverse pickup and send instructions.
Pack the piece in its original packaging with the certificate and invoice, and hand it to our logistics partner.
Keep your pickup acknowledgement (receipt, tracking number, or SMS) until your refund is complete.

Lost your certificate? We can arrange an IGI re-issue, charged at actual IGI cost with no margin added by us.

Lifetime Exchange

Your taste evolves. Your collection should too. Any Apekani piece can be exchanged, for life, for another of equal or greater value — you simply pay the difference.

Exchange value is 100% of what you paid for the original piece.
The piece must be free of damage, wear, or unauthorised alteration, and come with its original certificate, invoice, and warranty card.
A flat ₹1,500 insured-logistics fee applies.
Your new piece ships within 21 days of us receiving the original.
Exchange is an upgrade of value, not a cash refund — no money is returned on an exchange.
Available on pieces bought and delivered within India.

Lifetime Buyback

If you ever wish to part with an Apekani piece, we'll buy it back — for life — at:

100% of the prevailing market value of the gold (or other precious metal), plus
80% of the diamond value as stated on your original Apekani invoice.

Buyback terms:

No labour or certification charges are deducted.
The amount excludes taxes applied at the original purchase.
A flat ₹1,500 insured-logistics fee applies.
The piece must pass our quality check and come with its original certificate, invoice, and warranty card.
Payment is made by NEFT/RTGS to the invoice holder (valid government photo ID required), within 10 business days of receipt and clearance.
Available on pieces bought and delivered within India.

International orders

International orders are non-returnable and non-refundable, and our exchange and buyback programmes apply to pieces purchased and delivered within India only. Please choose carefully and reach us at concierge@apekani.diamonds with any questions before ordering.

Questions we get asked

Can I return a made-to-order ring? Made-to-order, personalised, engraved, and resized pieces are non-returnable unless there's a manufacturing defect. Ready-to-ship pieces in saleable condition are returnable within 30 days.

Do I pay for return shipping? No — insured reverse pickup is on us.

Is there a restocking fee? No.
