Apekani Enterprises LLP ("Apekani", "we", "us") operates apekani.diamonds. What we collect
- Identity & contact: name, email, phone, billing and shipping address.
- Transaction data: order history and, where required to complete a purchase, return, or exchange, limited payment details (processed by our secure payment partners — we do not store full card numbers).
- Compliance data: PAN and/or GST number where required by law for a transaction.
- Usage data: IP address, device and browser information, and how you interact with our site (via cookies — see below).
We collect this when you create an account, place an order, contact us, subscribe to our emails, enter a promotion, or browse the site.
Why we use it (lawful purposes)
To fulfil and deliver your orders; process returns, exchanges, buyback, warranty and aftercare; verify and prevent fraud; respond to your queries; send you marketing only with your consent; improve our products and website; and meet our legal and tax obligations.
Your consent — and your right to withdraw it
You may withdraw consent for marketing or non-essential processing at any time, with no effect on services you've already purchased. Unsubscribe via the link in any email, or write to hello@apekani.diamonds. Withdrawal takes effect within 5 business days.
Your rights under the DPDP Act
You have the right to access, correct, update, and erase your personal data, to withdraw consent, to nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity, and to grievance redressal. To exercise any of these, contact our Grievance Officer below.

Sharing your data
We share data only with service providers who help us run the business — payment gateways, insured logistics partners, our jewellery manufacturer for fulfilment, and analytics/marketing platforms — under strict confidentiality and only for the purposes above. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law, to protect rights or safety, or if our business is transferred to another entity.
Security and retention
We protect your data with reasonable security safeguards as required under the DPDP Act. We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which we de-identify or securely delete it. No internet transmission is ever fully secure, so you share data with us at your own risk; keep your account password confidential and tell us immediately of any unauthorised use.
Children
Our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly process the data of anyone under 18 without verifiable parental consent, as required by the DPDP Act.
